Welcome to Santa Clara Sporting Clubs U11 Boys Green Team page. The team plays and trains year-round to develop players to their highest potential and challenge them to the highest level of competition. We play in both the CYSA CCSL League and NorCal.
The team finished the 2011 Fall season as back to back CYSA President's Cup Champions and took fifth overall in the NorCal State Cup. They placed second in their CYSA Silver bracket. The team also became champions in two of the three tournaments they played in during the fall season. The team is currently playing in the NorCal Spring League, premier bracket, region 2. The spring season has been all about development with the team playing 11 v 11, players played in different positions and the players worked on different individual skills than in the fall. Below are the team accomplishments and statistics for the past two seasons.
The team consists of boys who were born after July 31st, 2000 and before August 1st, 2001. The team practices on Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:15 to 6:45 PM. Any eligible player within the age group is welcome to come out to practice and tryout for the team. Please bring shin guards and a bottle of water.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS to date for the 2011/2012 SEASON: Champions-CYSA President's Cup, 5th Place Overall in State Bracket-NorCal State Cup, 2nd Place-CYSA League Play-Silver A Bracket, Champions-Impact Invitational.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS for the 2010/2011 SEASON: 1st Place-CYSA League Play-Silver Bracket, Champions-San Ramon Valley Cup, Champions-Central Marin Premier Challenge, Champions-CYSA President's Cup, Semi-Finalists-NorCal State Cup-Premier Bracket, 3rd Place - CYSA CCSL Spring League Play-Silver Elite Bracket, Finalists-D2 Spring Cup.
STATISTICS for the 2010/2011 SEASON: Wins-33, Losses-6, Ties-8, GF-144, GA-56, 13 shut-outs. Averages per game: Wins-69%, Losses-13%, Ties-17%, 3 GF, 1 GA, 27% shut-outs.
